Interesting collapsable hammock stand based on turtle dog design from hammocks.

July 6 2018 at 5 46 pm. I took the hardware from artjrk and used it for the surplus military aluminum poles others were using. I bought 6 5ft stakes ratchet straps and party tent stakes from home depot. I then bought some static line from ems.

I made one last week that technically wasn t a turtle dog stand but it worked really well. If you hit the big box stores and buy 10 sections of black pipe they will cut. Out of respect for turtle lady and turtle dog i didn t want to clog up her bamboo thread any more with a similar stand but uses hardware instead of lashing and it s aluminum poles that are taken down and fits into my camry trunk. The pipe stand and calculator works great for my hennessy.

The pipe stand is by far my favorite and most costly. I hiked it into hudson music festival and it stood up to the crazy thunderstorms that occurred.
